Georgia Powell

I am a Brighton, Eastbourne and Lewes based fully trained, experienced and BACP accredited counsellor and as such I follow strict ethical and professional guidelines.

I trained at Sussex University, obtaining a post graduate diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling in 2002. In addition to my private practice, I have been working as a counsellor at Action-for-Change for over 6 years seeing literaly hundreds of people with a multitude of issues.

I have also worked in the NHS in Brighton, London and Chichester. My other qualifacations also include a BSc(Hons) in Experimental Psychology (Sussex University 1989), and a Diploma in Professional Studies in Substance Misuse Interventions Strategies (Brighton University 2005).

Member Federation of Drug and Alcohol Professionals.

The above are my professional credentials, this is important but my main aim in my professional career is to empower you to achieve your goals.

There are currently two consulting rooms available for you to visit. Station Street, Lewes (2 mins walk from station) and 69 Meads Road Eastbourne (Lots of Free Parking)
